Education Program

Our Education Program is designed to provide lectures and information sessions that assist participating youth in attaining greater success in the academic arena and establishing life-goals.  The current elements of the Education Program include the following:

- Life enriching and educational Course (“Becoming Legendary by Knowing and Developing Your Greatness”).

- Mentorship and tutoring sessions through partnerships with local middle and high schools, surrounding colleges and universities in Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia (DC).

- Scholarships: (four-year scholarships that provide financial assistance for youth to attend an accredited college, university, vocational school or technical school in Maryland, Virginia or DC.

- Leadership Academy that utilizes various printed materials and significant figures/community leaders to provide a curriculum of instruction and discussion to empower our youth

- Accu-Placer Testing Preparation

- SAT and ACT Preparation

- High School Assessment (HSA) Preparation

Scholarship Open Season

- Applications being accepted January 2 - April 1, 2009. All applications must be postmarked by April 1, 2009.

- Scholarship Advisory committee meets May 1-10, 2009.

- Scholarship winners announced and notified May 25-30, 2009.
