ATAP Foundation started out as an idea of four young professionals from various walks of life who realized that there was a significant void in the community; they realized that there was a need for an organization that provides services and support to "in-need" youth which would enable them to overcome adversity, hardships and hopelessness while providing information and an outlet that will uplift and inspire them to attain greatness.  They looked internally at their personal challenges growing up and considered their own experiences to identify the critical events, programs, and mentors that enabled them to overcome those challenges and move forward to attain success in their lives and careers.    

     The ideas and services discussed were manifested into the creation of the All Things Are Possible Foundation, Incorporated.  The Foundation was originally organized in Cumberland County, North Carolina in November 2006; however operations were significantly hindered due to the rapid military deployments of the leadership and members within the organization.  Less than one year later, the President & CEO and the Chief Operating Officer changed their career paths in order to ensure the success of All Things Are Possible Foundation, Incorporated. The Foundation was officially incorporated in Prince George's County, Maryland in August 2007 and operates under the registered trade name of ATAP Foundation.

     The Board of Directors and Elected Officers of ATAP Foundation have personal stories about overcoming challenges that provide evidence that All Things Are Possible.  The vision statement of ATAP Foundation is "Utilizing Our Will To Develop Our Future" and is representative of our organizational leadership, sponsors, supporters and volunteers who believe that we have an responsibility to our youth and are actively taking ownership of this responsibility to "Develop Our Future".  Through their commitments of time, service and monetary support "Our Will" is developed and manifested throughout the organization and the youth that participate in the four programs.
